On 4 and 5 April 2025, we had the pleasure of accompanying Ercile and Gires at their wedding in Burgdorf, in the canton of Bern. A celebration over two days surrounded by their loved ones, with a religious ceremony on the Friday followed by a big evening of dancing on the Saturday.
For this wedding, our team was in charge of coordinating both days. Together with her family and friends, we also helped the bride set up the decoration she had imagined for her wedding.
The couple wanted an elegant and warm celebration with simple, understated decoration. Our main role was to make sure every step ran smoothly, coordinate the suppliers, follow the schedule and handle the unexpected, so the couple could fully enjoy both days.
Coordinating a wedding for 800 guests
The evening of dancing, held in Burgdorf’s large festival hall, was a particularly big challenge for our team: it was the first wedding for 800 people that we had coordinated.
With an event of this size, planning ahead and coordination were essential. We had to make sure every supplier stepped in at the right time, the schedule was kept and any surprises were handled quickly and discreetly.
Above all, our aim was to let the couple fully enjoy their evening without having to worry about the organisation behind the scenes.
Despite the impressive number of guests, the celebration kept a warm, elegant and convivial atmosphere.
A defining experience for our team
What we remember most about Ercile and Gires’s wedding is the lovely atmosphere over both days, and also the trust the couple placed in us.
Coordinating a wedding with 800 guests for the first time was a real challenge and a very rewarding experience for our team. It put our organisation, our responsiveness and our attention to detail into practice, all of which a wedding of this scale demands.
We are delighted to have contributed to the smooth running of this celebration and to have accompanied Ercile and Gires through these two days that meant so much to them.
